Prior to joining Cowan Architects in 2018, Aaron studied for his Bachelors in Architecture at the Arts University Bournemouth and his Masters in Architecture at the University of East London. Most recently he worked for Saunders Architecture & Urban Design in Farringdon, where he found interest in developing and building-out proposals for a wide range of private and public sector clients. Aaron’s first taste of architectural practice was at Ansham Architects in Kent, where his love of detailing and materiality was borne.

Playing a key role in Cowan Architects’ London studio, Aaron’s experience has seen him design and deliver a large range of exciting and forward-thinking projects in the office & commercial, education, hospitality & retail and residential (developer and private) sectors.

He particularly enjoys the process of working with end users to expand on their brief and pre-conceived aspirations, to establish an architectural design which delivers their needs and surpasses their expectations; he believes the intimate process of collaborative design is the key to producing outstanding architecture.

Aaron has designed and delivered projects for clients including: AMSProp Estates (Lord Alan Sugar); Moreland Estates; Crest Nicholson; SEGRO; the Trocadero; Hitchin Cricket & Hockey Club; Howard Cundey Estate (office fit-out); Willmott Dixon Residential – Prime Place & Be:here; Paragon Structures; Millfield Senior School; Reading Borough Council; Crawley Open House Homeless Charity and Thomas Sinden.
