Barking’s Bath House Gets a New Look

Bath House in Barking is an 8-storey residential tower of 96 apartments with commercial space on ground floor comprising a mix of one and two bed apartments, each of which has an external amenity space such as a projecting balcony or terrace.

Recent testing of the sheathing boards found that they did not meet the current requirements for non-combustibility and Cowan Architects is implementing a remediation strategy along with a specification of fire safe materials.
