We were appointed by Brooklands School following a limited competition to design a new multi purpose classroom building, used for all sorts on there playground to take the place of a wooden hut & store and provide a more permanent solution to relieve the pressure on primary classroom facilities.

Used in conjunction with external games, a new flexible multi purpose unit was conceived in a timber frame / laminated beam structure with an extensive sedum green roof.

he design provides new IT facilities and includes a meeting/store area with visual connection to the main room space, windows with sensor controls and a kitchenette to encourage domestic science / healthy eating.

The main contract was completed in 4 months with a contract value of £230,000.00 which included demolition and preparation of the site.
