Cowan Architects secures planning for new London Ambulance Training Centre

Cowan Architects has just succeeded in securing planning permission from the London Borough of Hounslow for a new training centre for the London Ambulance Service in Brentford.

The planning application for the Brentside Executive Centre sees a change of use from office space to a training and education centre and is part of a strategy that sees a number of London wide training sites for the London Ambulance Service consolidated into two new dedicated training centres at Brentside and Newham. Both sites will accommodate 160 staff and students at maximum capacity, providing a range of face-to-face teaching, virtual teaching and skills training spaces.

The Brentside project is on a quick turn around with anticipated completion at the end of April.
