Cowan Director To Be Top Speaker at Education Building Forum

Nigel Marcoolyn, Cowan Architect’s Director of Architecture, will be one of the top speakers at the Educational Building Virtual Forum being held next week (9 – 10th December, 2020).

On Wednesday morning, 9th December, Nigel will be discussing the use of innovative technology in the creation of sports halls and swimming pools/leisure centres using the case studies from the Cowan-designed ParagonSprung Structures to illustrate cutting edge sports design. He will feature Millfield School’s award-winning cricket and golf centres as well the Swim England collaboration and feasibility study for new pool designs.

Nigel will be joined by other top speakers such as Scott Tacchi, Head of Modern Method of Construction, Department for Education, Claire Barton, Partner at Haverstock and Edward Thomas, Director of Estates and Procurement at Academy Transformation Trust.

The Education Building Forum has been specifically developed to meet the needs of those delivering all types of education facilities. This year it will be bringing together the local authorities, school leaders, project managers, architects, contractors and other senior level professionals who are looking to enhance their schemes, improve their supply chain and understand the emerging trends.
