Cowan Director To Be Top Speaker at Education Building Forum

Nigel Marcoolyn, Cowan Architect’s Director of Architecture, will be one of the top speakers at the Educational Building Forum at Heythrop Park, on September 22nd and 23rd 2020.

He will be discussing the use of innovative technology in the creation of sports halls, using our award-winning Millfield School Cricket and Golf Sports Centres with ParagonSprung Structures as a case study.

After 3 long months of lockdown, and with a full-scale return to school  still months away, the forum will be assessing the impact this pandemic has had on our children’s education and as a construction industry what lessons have we learnt in the lockdown and what changes can be made?

Nigel will be joining other confirmed speakers such as Scott Tacchi, DfE, (Driving Modern Methods of Construction), Mark Saint and Mike O’Hanlon, BSfN, (Alternative Funding Strategy for Delivering New Sports Facilities) and Claire Barton, Haverstock (Considering the Wellbeing of Young People Through Design).
