Designs Come to Life in Newly Completed Offices

We are delighted that the new head office for Coast Insurance have been completed in The Old Bank, Wadhurst, East Sussex.

The design carried out by Cowan Architects brings a new lease of life to the former Lloyds Bank building which had stood vacant for some years. The ground floor comprises a central welcome area in the former banking hall with contemporary glazed screening providing privacy for workstations and separation to a modern breakout space for  employees to enjoy. The former ‘manager’s offices’ now provide a generous meeting space and hot desk for future expansion. The first floor has been reconfigured to provide 24 workplaces, a newly fitted ‘Board Room’ and newly fitted facilities.

Overall the newly finished 3,000sq.ft office has allowed Coast Insurance to consolidate their previous three sites into one location with a well considered brand identity, flexible and modern interior layout and state-of-the-art servicing throughout. The current layout provides 38No workstations with potential to provide an additional 10No for future expansion when required.
