I also undertake Property Searches and prepare Suitability Reports to assist Claimants and their families in locating and adapting suitable and appropriate properties.
ARCHITECTURAL EXPERIENCE
I am a practicing RIBA Chartered Architect working in the United Kingdom. I have worked in various sectors since 1997, predominantly focusing on domestic projects with construction values extending up to £1.5M. It is important to have a good understanding of the client’s brief and requirements and to produce designs for property adaptations that meet the client’s specific needs and aspirations. Domestic projects have varied in complexity from small extensions to totally remodelling and renovating houses or demolishing them and rebuilding. I have experience working with difficult or restricted residential properties with many of them having been situated in conservations areas on green belt land, locally listed or having been statutory Grade II listed buildings.
In addition to my extensive residential experience, I have worked on the extension and adaption of existing nursing homes to enable their continued certification and satisfaction of national guidelines. I have also designed large purpose-built nursing homes.
My experience extends across other sectors and specific projects have included working on a landmark new-build office building, a £28m new-build secondary school and a new-build golf, fitness and driving range complex, with all buildings designed to be non-discriminant and fully accessible.
