Senior Architectural Technologist

Miguel has recently joined Cowan Architects as Senior Architect Technologist. He is responsible for the design and delivery of a number Façade Remediation projects providing design solutions to ensure fire safety in accordance with Building Regulations and relevant guidance, including CWCT, NHBC and BRE.

Specialized in Facade Engineering and Fire Regulations for High Rise Buildings, Miguel has delivered a large number of Façade Remediation projects and provided Fire Safety assessments to a range of organizations within UK and possessing an ability to lead projects to successfully deliver superior quality solutions.

Miguel studied for his bachelor’s degree, Grado en Ciencia y Tecnologia en Edificacion, at Seville University (Universidad de Sevilla). He began his professional career in UK at Macconvilles, where his attention to construction details, material specification and BIM implementation developed.
