Paulius is an ARB-registered architect with over 10 years of combined experience across construction and architectural practice. His career began on site working as a general builder and progressing through groundworks, carpentry and drylining, before moving into BMS electrical work on commercial projects. This hands-on background gives him a strong practical understanding of how buildings are put together and informs his approach to technical detailing and problem-solving.
Paulius has led residential projects from concept through to completion, with experience in managing budgets, programmes and consultant teams. He has
delivered planning applications in sensitive locations such as South Downs National Park and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, technical design packages and carried out contract administration under JCT contracts. As a Contract Administrator, he has attended site on weekly basis, inspecting works for compliance with contract documentation and acting as a key point of contact between clients and contractors. At Cowan Architects, Paulius is currently working on cladding remediation projects including Higher-Risk Buildings.
