Architect

Phil joined Cowan Architects in 2022 and is a Project Architect with over 10 years’ residential experience. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects across all RIBA work stages.

Throughout his career Phil has developed his understanding of the Senior Living Sector and BREEAM requirements.

Phil has been involved in extensive pre-application negotiations and public consultations as part of his role liaising with Local Authorities and Stakeholders and leading the project through the delivery of their tender and construction programmes. He demonstrates expertise and commitment to inclusively designed, accessible, easily adaptable and affordable new homes.

Phil’s previous experience, mainly focused on the former, including new build, renovation and extension work. Most of the projects I have dealt with involve historic or conservation considerations, and involve work to listed buildings, dealing with sites in conservation areas, AONB and within Green Belt land.
