Experience

Scott has experience in all stages of projects from inception to completion. In practice he has been involved primarily on mixed-use residential led developments ranging from small scale domestic to complex large scale regeneration schemes which collectively have provided around 3,000 new homes ranging from affordable for rent and shared ownership to high value private housing. Many of these projects have included both publicly accessible and private facilities such as community centres, retail and commercial spaces, medical and health care amenities, pharmacies, gymnasiums, cafes and childcare nurseries and involved the renovation and conversion of heritage buildings.

Projects of note include a complex, multi-faceted third age residential development on a former psychiatric hospital site that sat within a North London conservation area. The scheme included thoughtfully designed new build townhouses and apartments and the conversion and restoration of existing listed buildings. A portion of the scheme was to be occupied by a co-housing community who required shared spaces and amenities to promote and support their desired independence. It also included affordable and private housing with enhanced accessibility standards that were designated by the charitable housing association Client providing housing specifically for the elderly and those with reduced mobility. Amongst the many accolades the completed development received were a Commendation from the Civic Trust Awards Commendation.
